Q2 2026

We shipped several updates this quarter to give restaurant partners more clarity, control, and visibility across ezCater. Here’s what’s new:

June

More predictable order modifications

Order modification policies are now standardized across the network. Partners default to a 6-business-hour modification window, with custom options available from 2 to 48 hours. Customers see your modification terms during the ordering experience and in their order communications, so everyone knows what to expect.

Sponsored Listings expands to six more states

Sponsored Listings expanded to Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Eligible partners in these markets can promote their locations in prominent Marketplace placements, set campaign budgets, and track clicks and orders attributed to their ads.

May

Acceptance windows that fit your operations

Acceptance windows now reflect how soon an order is due. Orders scheduled within 24 hours have a 30-minute acceptance window, while orders scheduled more than 24 hours out have a 4-hour window. This gives your team more practical time to respond while helping customers get timely confirmation. You can also use auto-accept for eligible orders to reduce manual work.

Simpler automatic Dispatch pricing

Automatic and Configured Dispatch now use a flat per-order fee: $3 for food and beverage subtotals up to $499, or $5 for subtotals of $500 or more. On-demand Dispatch pricing remains unchanged. Flat fees make it easier to understand and forecast your delivery costs.

April

Restaurant cancellation policies

We’re standardizing cancellation policies across ezCater to make expectations clearer and fairer. For partners using the standard policy, orders canceled within 24 hours of the event are charged 25% of the food and beverage subtotal. Partners can review their policy and choose from available fee and timing options in the Partner Portal.

A clearer operational metrics experience

The refreshed Operational Metrics page makes it easier to understand what affects your ability to stay live on the ezCater Marketplace. You can now quickly see the four accountability metrics— rejected orders, canceled orders, on-time delivery, and ready for dispatch —alongside supporting metrics that help you spot issues early. If your store is at risk or paused, the page explains why and what to do next.

More insight with Sales Performance

The Performance page is now Sales Performance, with a full view of your Marketplace funnel—from search appearances to menu clicks and orders. You can also compare your performance with nearby restaurants and see new, existing, and lapsed customers. In Sponsored Listings markets, paid and organic performance are shown together for easier reporting.
