The majority of Meal Program orders are powered by Dispatch. The use of Dispatch for Meal Program orders allow us to monitor live tracking for our clients, and is highly encouraged. However, in some cases, a self delivery option is available. Please note that requesting Dispatch or Self Delivery on a per-order basis is not available.

How to assign a driver:

  1. Navigate to the “view order” button under the Meal Program tab in Partner Portal

  2. Under the schedule, find the Driver Details section to the right

  3. Click on the “Assign a driver” button

  4. Enter driver’s first and last name and a cell phone number

    • Note: This step is required so that delivery instructions can be sent to the driver via SMS message. Be sure to enter a working cell phone number to receive the text.

    • Important - a driver must be assigned before each order’s cutoff time

  5. The driver will receive a text message with the delivery address, building instructions, and a "Drop Complete" button.

Where to find important information:

Under the order details page, you can find each order’s delivery information including:

  • The company name

  • The address

  • Delivery time

  • Cutoff for the order (when your order becomes finalized with labels and checklist available to print)

What is expected at the delivery

  • Drivers will receive a text message that includes the delivery address, detailed building instructions, and a button to mark the delivery complete

  • Meals should be unpacked and placed with labels facing out so customers can easily spot their names

  • IMPORTANT: The driver must mark the delivery complete by hitting the green “Drop Complete” button. If your driver does not hit the “Drop Complete” button, the order will be marked late even if it was delivered on time

  • Once the green “Drop Complete” button is pressed, our system logs the delivery time for on-time accuracy and notifies customers via text that their meals are ready for pickup.

On time ratings are critical to receive consistent orders. Please ensure food is correctly packaged, labeled, and delivered at the designated time.
