Restaurant Partner Integrations

ezCater offers two integrations with Olo Rails: the Orders API and the Menus API. This page explains what each API does, when to use them, and where to go next.

Menu Integration Overview

The Menus API syncs your Olo Rails menu directly into ezCater on a per-location basis. Once configured, you maintain one menu in Olo and ezCater stays in step automatically.

Menu Setup Guide

If your brand is already live on the Orders API, you can add the Menus API through a conversion — a focused project that connects your existing Olo menu directly…

Rails Visibility

Utensils — forks, knives, spoons, plates, bowls, napkins, cups, ice — are required on every ezCater menu. Menus that offer free utensils win significantly more orders than those who don’t,…

Setting Up Your Menu

The Olo Rails integration uses ezCater’s Orders API to transmit accepted orders directly from ezCater into Olo Rails, where they flow on to your POS through your existing Olo configuration

Olo Rails Integration Overview

This page describes how orders move from ezCater into Olo Rails — from the moment a customer places an order through the firing of the order to your POS

Order Acceptance & Transmission

This page covers the operational side of the Olo Rails integration — what happens when orders fail to transmit, how payment processing works, what to do during outages, and where…

Receiving Orders

When an order fails to transmit from ezCater to Olo Rails, you’ll see an error code in your notification. This page explains what each code means in plain language, why…

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
